Would it look tacky if i paint all the wooden furniture in my room black?
I’m redoing my room at the moment it kind of has a blue walls wooden furniture but I’d like to paint the walls white, the wood black and a dark feature wall. I’m just wondering if you think the furniture will look really tacky painted.
It might get too dark with the dark feature wall and dark furniture. A dark paint scheme can really shrink a space, more than you realize. I don’t think it would be tacky to paint the wood, but take the furniture into consideration. I rarely paint wood and doing so usually decreases the value as many people would end up stripping it. Make sure the room is big enough for all the deep colours and keep the ceiling white. If your happy it doesn’t matter what others think.
